Distillery District Patios, Mill Street, Tapos, Pure Spirits and Boiler House - Amazing in July
This is the east patio at Pure Spirits restaurant in the historic Distillery District. Its a popular tourist attraction and is rather famous for seafood pastas and oysters. Its a fact that in the summertime thousands of pounds of fresh mussels, lobsters, crabs and clams are sent here via air freight from both the East and West Coasts of Canada, daily.

In the distance you can see the eastern most corner of the Boiler House restaurant patio.

Last century the Boiler House was the primary source of steam power for The Distillery. The coal-fired furnace and boilers turned the augers and stirred the vats and pumped whiskey all over the property. Today the historic building accommodates a world class restaurant.
The Distillery District is one of many Toronto Tourist Attractions and photos of this historic property could be submitted to the Lenzr photo contest of the same name that launched July 1st 2011 and offers an inflatable kayak as a unique prize for the Lenzr member that uploads the best image as determined by other members and Judges. The Sea Eagle inflatable kayak is donated by a very intriguing contest sponsor business - a boat that is also a hotel on the Toronto waterfront.
The Boatel is a Toronto bed and breakfast that’s literally right across the highway from the mother of all tourist attractions in the city - the CN tower, ACC and Rogers Centre, Fork York, Exhibition Place - even Sugar Beach is a five minute walk from the pier.
