Lenzr Builds Buzz For Three Solar Powered Sponsors
The whole world is going solar this summer, and Lenzr is busy collecting pictures for three very different solar industrial players; one company makes portable solar power generators, another uses solar power to do eco friendly deck building, while a third does solar panel installations and industrial flat roof repair. They use a white ToughRoof coating (which is especially perfect for solar power production). Now Lenzr works on the periphery of the online ‘alternative power’ niche, and keeps busy by telling everyone about the opportunities to win iPads and how to promote your images after uploading photos to the contests.
There are three photos available this month, and all September, ending Oct 1st 2010. There are actually four photo contests on the website if you count Conflict which is sponsored by Smojoe social media marketing in Toronto and although its probably the most interesting challenge, its unfortunately not visible in the homepage screenshot below.
Visit Lenzr and choose a solar powered contest to enter in the summer of 2010. All of the above matches have been arranged by and paid for by solar power businesses and reward the participants that upload the highest ranking photo with iPads. These web challenges are designed to get people thinking about all the possibilities that are inherent in solar power production.
View From The Roof photo contest on Lenzr will collect and forever display (in the archives at the end of the contest) user submitted Canadian cityscapes and rural landscapes from all across Canada, glimpsed at some distance above the ground, with an eye on distinctive and otherwise remarkable points of interest in the skyline.
The Morning Sunshine photo contest is set up to capture and celebrate images that depict the first shafts of morning sunlight illuminating a beautiful subject in the heart of the city, or alone in the wilderness of nature. anything goes as long it was taken before breakfast.

People Building Things photo contest will appeal to those individuals that like to watch other people work, especially when they know them personally.
