Boy’s Boarding School Makes Eight Incredible Videos

Enrollment is up at most Ontario private schools, and that’s because the standard of education is much higher here than in any public school in the province. Yes, I said it, because it’s just so obvious now… Public schools can’t compete. Private schools have more money to spend on advanced programs, technological toys, state-of-the-art facilities and top notch teachers, and at the end of the day, these people can afford to have more passion. If you have any doubts about that reality, I invite you to watch a video made earlier this year by the Head of Drama at a 110-year-old boys’ boarding school in Aurora, Ontario.

All eight videos are available on the St. Andrew’s College website. They are quite stylized; there’s no narration. This was a conscious decision by the filmmaker, “to elicit an emotional response from the viewer – to not simply show, but to evoke what it feels like to be a boy at this extraordinary school (St. Andrew’s College).” The resulting works are a series of well constructed art pieces that are guaranteed to stand as testament to the superiority of this particular private school.
